Hi all - my John Deere LA105 is having issues turning over or running cleanly if I get it to start. I’ve replaced the battery, spark plug, oil/oil filter, air filter, fuel filter and have tried starting spray, carb choke and sea foam. I *think* it’s a carburetor issue, which is what I feared because I’ve never messed with one at all. It will leak the entire tank of gas out of the little know below the "CHOKE" text. Any ideas, or should I just replace the whole carb? So today has been fun, accidentally used the 2 year old gas to fill the mower to grab wood with our tractor (saved for burning weeds and starting bonfires in the cold) finally get it all siphoned out and a new filter (needed it anyway) and used starting fluid to get it running which it did spraying fluid down in every few seconds but it wouldn't run on its own. So now I'm trying to tear the carburetor apart from the intake manifold, I have the air intake elbow tore off the one side of the throug... Hey folks - I live out in the middle of no where and I don't have a trailer or truck to pull my broken lawn tractor... I am hoping for some help or ideas!
